Who said your Papa can't fly?
Right, you gotta love this Canadian indie band, Broken Social Scene better known as BSS. Well, I think this is the 2nd time after they was here before if I’m not mistaken on March 2008 for Mosaic Music Festival.
I don’t want to tell you more about this band. You can check them out. That’s Wikipedia, Youtube are for. Hehe.
I admit, I’m quite new into this band after I purchased my 2nd-hand Nokia, there was a music video and maybe the previous owner also like BSS, and yeah, I enjoyed it.
I wasn’t aware there will be coming to Singapore until I went to Esplande last month, and there was poster about them. I ask my friends who interested to join me. At least, I got company okay.

Theirs is a music that careens, slightly unhinged, from raucous, rocking anthem to bubbling, ambient instrumental to shambling, swoony ballad in a blink… all the while, opulent, irregular, elegant, scruffy, epic yet intensely personal in that nebulous way that is the Broken Social Scene sound.
