In the first edition of El Classico 2009/2010, Madrid lost 1-0 to Barca, and first humiliation of Real Madrid’s second galactic age arrived in the Copa del Rey, hammered 4-0 by Alcorcón from Spain’s regional Second Division B and Olympic Lyon sent Madrid early exit from Champion League.
